Loving Touch
Guild members can help our community through
quilting. There are numerous opportunities for us to reach out and
provide a loving & caring touch to others in Edmond and surrounding
areas. These projects reach a wide spectrum of the population from
infants to the elderly.
The Guild's fabric stash is in need of some
child friendly additions, especially boy stuff and backings. So the next
time you're out shopping you might consider purchasing some for the
Guild or pass along some from your stash. Perhaps you made a purchase
and aren't sure what to do with it. We can USE it!
Below are details of our Loving Touch
opportunities:
Port Pillow Instructions - Click here.
Children's Surgical Cap - Click here.
Baby (40" x 40"), Youth & Lap
Quilts (40" x 60"), Boys Ranch (58" x 86")
These will be delivered to OU Medical Center Children's, OUMC/INTEGRIS
Birthing Suites, The Hope Center, Edmond Fire Department, and the Infant
Crisis Center.
The Guild can provide you with fabric,
batting, and QUICK & EASY PATTERNS. You can pick them up at the monthly
Guild meeting. If you need something specific just let me know. I can
come and pick up your finished projects if that's convenient for you.
If you want to make just tops I have people that will finish them up for
you. There is such a need in our community, from as little as 30 to or
100 quilts. We have found that these agencies gratefully appreciate your
gifts.
If you have any questions or comments,
contact Betty Ensz.
